Delta Sigma Theta Okinawa Chapter ladies bring smiles, elegance
After months of planning, meetings, and some research with consultant Provan Photography and more, Mona and I loaded up our van and headed to a hotel, anxious to get started on our first large photography event -- Delta Sigma Theta Okinawa Chapter's 10-year Anniversary. Working with our Kimono Professional Takako Kuniyoshi, owner of Atelier Sakura and an amazing designer Diana Lopez Hansen, owner of Indi Apparel, Mona and I were on a journey of a lifetime.

As each DST Okinawa lady entered to have their Kimono put on with the help of Takako, we noticed something -- these women were full of life, excited, and very kind. They talked to Mona as if she were a sister they had known for many years, they talked to our daugther as if she belonged to them, and their humility and love for those around them was absolutely amazing. We were providing a service, yet we were being served a full dish of grace, love and patience....yes patience when the flash wouldn't work, or the tether on the camera wouldn't sync to the computer, or the photo just wouldn't bring the right angle.
After the hours passed and the last shot was taken, we were saddened..."I wish we could have met all of the ladies." Thank you DST Okinawa for sharing your life, from all locations of the world, with us for the few minutes we embraced through the lens of the camera...no, better yet, through our hearts. Your LOVE was amazing. ~LT Productions
